About the Howland High School Band

“The Musical Pride of Howland” also known as the Howland "Tiger" Marching Band from Warren, Ohio is 155 members strong. All band students in grades 9-12 participate in this non-competitive show-style marching band. The "Tiger" Band performs at marching band shows throughout the valley, at Kennywood Park's fall fantasy parade in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and halftime at Youngstown State University football games.   In November of 2016 the Tiger Band performed on the Court at the "Q" in Cleveland, Ohio for the Post-Game for the NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers, and as a feature during the "Q's" official MLB  World Series Watch Party for the Cleveland Indians.  In October of 2017 the "Tiger" Marching Band performed at the Ohio State University "Buckeye" Invitational.  In October of 2019 the "Tiger" Band performed at Stambaugh Stadium at halftime of a Youngstown State University Football Game.  In November of 2023 the "Tiger" Marching Band had the performance of a lifetime marching in the "Festival of Fantasy Parade" in Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida.
